Sixth Man Lookin’ Sweet

The Los Angeles Clippers star sixth man lookin’ sweet ahead of his matchup with the Boston Celtics.

Lou Williams, the Clippers sixth man is headed for his third straight sixth man of the year award. Although he comes off the bench most games, Williams averages 19 points per game – third-highest on the team. The Clippers X-factor is posting career highs in rebounds (3.1) and assists (5.9) this season.

Williams strutted through the TD Garden’s tunnel in Boston wearing a casual gray Nike sweatsuit layered with a forest green fleece jacket. On top, Williams stays warm in a black beanie which he pairs well with a pair of Black Cement Jordan 3’s.

Williams tends to keep the fits chill as he goes H.A.M. on the court. Tonight, in a double-overtime thriller, he dropped a season-high 35 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists. Despite Williams’ electric performance, the Clippers lost 141-133.

Expect the sixth man to continue lookin’ sweet on the court as the Clippers look to play deep into June and win their first NBA Title.

Zion Williamson’s Electric NBA Debut

Zion’s NBA debut was electric!

Arguably, Zion Williamson’s NBA debut has been the most anticipated since Lebron James’ seventeen seasons ago. However, a knee injury kept Zion sidelined for the front half of the season as today marked his first NBA game ever. Pelicans fans gave Zion a very warm welcome as they hosted the San Antonio Spurs tonight at Smoothie King Arena. Despite not playing in a full-speed NBA game since the preseason back in October, Zion drew the start tonight but he only played 18 minutes. However, he put on a show as he scored 22 points and collected 7 rebounds. Zion electrified the arena when he scored 17 points in a three-minute span in the third quarter as he shot 4-4 from 3 point range.

Of course, Zion had to come fitted for his first NBA game. He was dressed in a casual black and blue suit with a black t-shirt underneath. He topped off his outfit with a pair of Off-White X Nike X MCA Air Force Ones.

Although the Pelicans lost tonight, Zion’s exciting performance bodes promising for fans all over the league. Will we see the high flier from Duke, or will Zion take on a new role on his new team? Will Zion be able to help the struggling Pelicans secure the eight seed in the west? Only time will tell.

In other league news, The first and second draft picks both played tonight and tonight was all about the first. Ja Morant who went second, right behind Zion, in the 2019 NBA Draft struggled tonight in a decisive loss to the Boston Celtics only scoring 5 points. However, Morant stepped his pregame outfit as he threw on a light black puffer jacket over his usual Nike sweatsuit.
